Notes | IMPORTANT: 32Mbit Platform Flash In-System Programmable Configuration PROM. This device consists of four 8Mbit blocks Block User Controlled Registers (BUCRs) Global User Controlled Registers (GUCRs) and Special User Controlled Registers (SUCRs). GUCRs and SUCRs are erased only with a full chip Erase operation. The 8Mbit blocks can be individually selected by setting Device Ranges. The device supports read and write security features which protect the design from inadvertant writes and from being copied. A secured device may still be erased and reprogrammed. To program the options in the Device Configure you must select the appropriate options AND you must ENABLE Secure. Otherwise none of the options will be programmed. If multiple bitstream support is desired the BUCRs GUCRs and SUCRs must be set under Device Configure for proper device operation. Standalone Verify will check that all device done bits for the selected range are set to 0 (programmed). The Check electronic identifiers" option must be set to ENABLE for any device operation. The proprietary Xilinx .BIT file is not a valid file format for the programmer Data Pattern. For the programmer Data Pattern please select an Intel hex (.MCS) file.
