Notes | IMPORTANT: This device is a TSOP II package. The socket modules are listed as SOIC.This is a NAND-type Flash EPROM with a minimum of 1014 blocks. Each block contains 16 pageswhich are divided into a 512 byte main page and a 16 byte control area. This algorithm ismapped with each page considered an contiguous 528 byte page.Bad Blocks are indicated at byte 517 of the first or second page of the block. These bytesare forced to be 0xFFh to indicate valid block. This algorithm uses a simple Bad Block Replacement scheme. This method skips bad blockswhile replacing them with the next valid block and extends ending location on the device. |
