Each block contains 64 pages which are divided into a 1024-word main page and a 32-word control area. This algorithm is mapped with each page considered an contiguous 1056-word page. Bad Blocks are indicated at word 1024 of the first or second page of a block. These words are forced to be FFFFh to indicate valid blocks. OTP sector is not supported. This device supports hardware ECC that uses some locations of the spare area for every page. These locations are ignored during Verify but can still be Read.
