Notes | IMPORTANT: This is a NAND-type Flash Memory with a minimum of 2008 blocks. Each block contains 32 pageswhich are divided into a 512 byte main page and a 16 byte spare area. This algorithm ismapped with each page considered an contiguous 528 byte page.This algorithm is intended to be used with the Custom 30 (Make BBtable and Skip"Bad Block Management Scheme and "Custom30v2 ECC" Scheme.These settings are provided under the Device->NAND Options menu.The ECC generation requires that the BPWin Data Buffer has blank data in the page spare areas.If the data file does not contain any spare area data blank spare area data can be added to itby selecting Device->Add Blank Spare. In that menu select the Input File to add the blankspare area to. Then select a new output file and click Generate.The Input File must be in a Binary format. Please resave your file as Binary if necessary.The Output File can then be loaded in BPWin and used with the "Custom30v2 ECC" generator.A device will be rejected if there are too many Bad Blocks found on its entire Flash array.However all the Device operations such as Erase Blank Program and Verify areexecuted only on specified Device Ranges with possible Block Replacement extension.
