Setting the "Lockout Parameter Block 0"option under Device Configure to ENABLE will Permanently Protect the Security Block(buffer address: 0h-1FFFh). Setting the "Lockout User Register" option to ENABLE willLock the User Programmable portion of the Protection Register. Enabling the "Lockout User Register"option will also Permanently Freeze the "Lockout Parameter Block 0" existing status. WhenErasing the User Register of the Protection Register the programmer will blank-check the areaand will fail the "Erase" operation if the area is not blank.
