Notes | IMPORTANT: 1k-Bit Protected 1-Wire EEPROM with SHA-1 Engine. In the Buffer addresses [00h-7Fh] is the Data Memory (Read/Write); addresses [80h-87h] is 64-bit Secrets Memory (Write only) Read/Verify/Compare operations will have no effect on these addresses. Addresses [90h-97h] is 64-bit Registration Number (Read only) Program/Verify/Compare operations will have no effect on these addresses. The address range [88h-8Fh] and [98h-9Fh] also referred to as register page contains special function registers as well as general-purpose user-bytes and nine factory byte. Once programmed to AAh or 55h most of these bytes become write-protected and can no longer be altered. All other codes will neither write-protect the address nor activate the special function associated to that particular byte.Programming any of the specified values into the registeraddresses can lock a Data Memory Page.The program and verify options will pass but subsequent attempts to Read/Verify/Programa protected Data Memory page will result in a failure. The factory byte 8Bh will either read 55h or AAh. Typically this address will read 55h indicating that the addresses 8Eh and 8Fh are read/write user-bytes without any special function or locking mechanism. The code of AAh indicates that these two bytes are programmed with a 16-bit manufacturer ID and then write-protected at the factory. Please refer to device data sheet for details.
